Hold Down Kit
It is a fixed belt that prevents the awning from being blown by the wind.
Unlike the latest hold side down kit, this type is not mounted to the left and right columns but instead hooks onto the arm of the awning extension as shown in the photo. Wind is the arch-enemy of side awnings. We recommend taking wind precautions as soon as you extend the awning, even on the calmest days. This hold down kit attaches a belt to the spring arm of the awning and secures it with pegs. It is compatible with awnings up to 6 meters, but please cut the belt according to the length of your awning. *Do not extend the awning during strong winds.
